Biomedical Engineering

I am a MS student at the BME Department of Duke University. I completed my bachelor’s degrees at the University of California, Irvine - majoring in both Biology and Mathematics. I was working at professor Plikus Maxims lab during my junior year, which focuses on understanding the LepR signaling pathway as a biomarker for epidermal cell niche. Afterwards, I worked for Dr. Ray Luo using molecular dynamic simulation to predict the protein structure of a mutant of the MTF1 protein. My research interest is solving biological problems though computational methods, because I think it is pretty cool to predict biological consequences quantitively.
