Our work "The landscape of small-molecule prodrugs" has been published in Nature Reviews Drug Discovery. Using cheminformatics, we highlight rationales for prodrug design, prodrug indications, mechanisms of API release, the chemistry of promoieties, and prodrug market impact. Thanks to our great collaborators from Duke and Rivus Pharmaceuticals for all their insights and efforts on this work.
